Dear Brothers,
Since our start as Club Fox, we have been defined by the character, ideals, and dedication of our brothers. We are proud to announce a new initiative to ensure that our legacy continues: The Kappa Xi Alpha “Triple T” Excellence Award.
The “Triple T” Award is a $2,000 scholarship designed to reward the best of the best within our undergraduate brotherhood. To qualify, a brotherhood must maintain a 3.5 minimum GPA, hold a Chapter Officer Position, and live in the house. With this new scholarship, we aren’t just rewarding good grades, we are incentivizing the leaders who keep our brotherhood strong, our house full, and our reputation unmatched.
Thanks to the generous gifts of the Class of 2017, we are able to start the Award this year. To make this scholarship a sustainable, annual tradition, we need your support to help bolster the scholarship fund. Your contribution goes directly to Kappa Xi Alpha, and will do more than just ease a brother’s financial burden. Your contribution directly supports:
Academic Retention: As you know, a degree at WPI has gotten significantly more expensive. A majority of undergraduate brothers now hold year-round part-time jobs to afford their degree. Your contributions will help ease the burden so they can remain focused on their degrees.
Chapter Stability: This award directly incentivizes our strongest leaders to live in-house. We have found that this strongly contributes to a stronger brotherhood and stimulates mentorship of our younger brothers.
The Phi Sig Legacy: This is an opportunity to foster our values of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Character in the next generation of Phi Sig.
To donate, please go to bit.ly/Triple-T-Excellence-Donation and select the “Triple T” Excellence Award.
As part of the application process, brothers will submit an essay reflecting on how Phi Sig has shaped their lives. We look forward to sharing these powerful testimonials with you in future newsletters so you can hear directly how your generosity is transforming the lives of our undergraduate brothers.
Yours Fraternally Forever,
The Kappa Xi Alpha Scholarship Committee
