Join your fellow brothers for a scenic hike through Purgatory Chasm! We had a great time in 2025, and are doing it again in 2026! Purgatory has been a favorite rush event for years - this is a great opportunity to reconnect with your brothers and nature.

We will meet in front of the visitor center. Following the hike, we will have a potluck picnic and grill some burgers and hot dogs. Please bring your your own food / drinks to ensure we have enough for everyone!

This event is free, but the park does charge $5 for parking.

Celebrate Phi Sig Weekend 2026!

Last year Kappa Xi hosted a Summer Concert & BBQ at 11 Dean Street. In 2026 we're planning another celebration for Phi Sig Weekend on July 18th!

Join the undergraduate brothers in celebrating Homecoming 2026! Take a tour of the house and see all the recent improvements at 1pm, catch up with other alumni, meet the undergrads, and chat with KXA officers. Stick around for the KXA Update at 3pm. 

The KXA Disc Golf Tournament is back!

We hope you had fun last year! This year we are hosting the 5th Annual KXA Disc Golf Tournament during Homecoming!

The tournament will be held at Newton Hill in Worcester and will be followed by a cookout at the house.

Schedule of Events:

• 10:30AM-2:00PM - KXA Disc Golf Tournament 

  • 10:30 Gather at 11 Dean St and carpool over to Newton Hill. Park at Newton Sq, along Pleasant St.

  • 11:00 Shotgun start at Newton Hill (start at WWII Memorial Park in Newton Sq)

  • 2:00 Games should wrap up and head back to 11 Dean for the cookout and Homecoming festivities

• 2:00PM - Backyard Cookout & Cornhole Tournament

  • After your tour of the house, come outside to the backyard to catch up with other alumni and meet the rest of the undergraduate brothers. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served (vegetarian and gluten free options will be available upon request).

• 3:00PM - KXA Annual Meeting

  • Stick around until 3pm to hear from the KXA officers. The annual meeting will be held in the backyard.

• 4:00PM - Undergraduate Guided House-Tour

  • Haven't been back to 11 Dean in a while - or maybe you just want to catch a tour by the current undergrads? There will be an undergraduate guided house tour at 4PM (just after the KXA meeting).

Join us for the 6th annual Recruitment Dinner & Workshop in October 2026! The goal of this event is to help the Undergraduates prepare for Fall Recruitment. This will be a hybrid event with In-Person and Virtual options. Virtual attendees will receive the Zoom information prior to the event.

Join the Brotherhood for a Danksgiving Feast! Dinner is served at 5:30pm, but feel free to show up early and meet all the undergraduates and rushees! 

Alumni are encourage to bring desserts and appetizers.

Join us for the seventh annual PSK Career Night in 2027! This is an opportunity for alumni to meet with undergrads (and recent grads) to teach them the skills they need to succeed after graduation. Whether you're a recent grad, or graduated in the 50's, your experiences and knowledge will help prepare the undergraduate brothers for their life after WPI!

Alumni will have the opportunity to talk about the industries they work in, share advice, connect undergrads with job opportunities, and help with resume critiques. To help make this a success, we are looking for alumni of all different ages, backgrounds, and career paths. 

The first half of the evening will be a moderated round-table discussion with the goal of discussing topics to better prepare the undergrads to land a job. The second half of the evening we will break out into one-on-one sessions to provide more specific assistance by reviewing resumes, interview prep, and helping with other career related skills.

Registration will open Fall 2026

Last year we enjoyed a barrel-side tasting at the Boston Harbor Distillery. During this special tasting we sampled a variety of whiskeys, gins, rums, and liqueurs all distilled in the historic distillery. 

We're planning another winter alumni meet-up for 2027. More information to come in the fall!

Join us for the sixth annual State of the Fraternity address in 2027. The KXA president and officers will go over the status of PSK including recruitment, finances, property management, and more. 

This will be a hybrid event, but those who are able are encouraged to attend In-Person. Doors will open at 1:30pm for in-person attendees. Light refreshments will be available, catered by the Boynton. House Tours will be offered after the address.
